The dust has settled from the Season 4 premiere of Special Forces: World\u2019s Toughest Test<\/strong><\/a>, where Brittany Cartwright<\/span><\/strong> called it quits during the first challenge. Although Brit said she felt \u201cembarrassed,\u201d at the time, she\u2019s coming out on the other end of it. During a recent interview, she reflected on the experience and how all of the screaming from the coaches felt triggering after her volatile relationship with Jax Taylor<\/span><\/strong>.<\/p>\n During Season 4 Episode 1 of Special Forces, Brittany called it quits after exhausting herself in the first challenge<\/a>. Obviously, that didn\u2019t feel great, but Brittany explained during a recent edition of Housewives Nightcap how she still felt \u201cproud\u201d for conquering one of her biggest fears and going so far out of her comfort zone.<\/p>\n \u201cHeights terrify me, and I conquered one of my biggest fears,\u201d she said. \u201cI jumped out of a helicopter.\u201d<\/p>\n She continued, \u201cI was very proud of myself. I don\u2019t think people understand, when something is your biggest fear and you have to do it, you feel so proud of yourself.\u201d<\/p>\n Although Brittany said she didn\u2019t want to leave first, she knows she made the right call. She said that the way the coaches were screaming at her wound up having a \u201creverse effect\u201d on her, after years of dealing with Jax\u2019s rage issues<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cI went into this in a very tough time of my life,\u201d Brittany confessed, adding that she wasn\u2019t \u201cphysically prepared.\u201d<\/p>\n She continued, \u201cI had never been away from my son that long, and also, after coming out of a toxic relationship, I thought I would be able to handle the comments.\u201d<\/p>\n Of course, Brittany knew that the drill sergeants<\/a> were going to yell at her. She watched the show and thought she would be able to handle it better than the rest of her competitors<\/a>. However, once she got there, it wound up feeling more triggering than helpful.<\/p>\n She explained, \u201cInstead of motivating me, it really triggered me. So whenever they\u2019re screaming at me like, \u2018You\u2019re weak, you\u2019re that,\u2019 I was more like, \u2018I know I am.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n Ultimately, Brit doesn\u2019t have regrets about how she left the show. She said she was missing her son<\/a>, feeling triggered, and all of that running didn\u2019t help either.
