\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tSix <\/em>Creators Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss to Perform Songs From Why Am I So Single? <\/em>in New York<\/span><\/p>\n \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n Abby Mueller and Joy Woods will be guests artists at the 54 Below concert.<\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n SIX:\u00a0The Musical\u00a0<\/em>composers Toby Marlow<\/a> and Lucy Moss<\/a> have a new musical, and they’re giving New Yorkers a sneak peek with a concert October 3 at 54 Below at 7 PM. The Tony-winning composers will perform songs from\u00a0SIX\u00a0<\/em>and their latest musical\u00a0Why Am I So Single?<\/em>, as well as unreleased songs.<\/p>\n The two will also be joined by former\u00a0SIX\u00a0<\/em>queens Joy Woods<\/a> and Abby Mueller<\/a>. Giving a pop-diva twist to\u00a0the six wives of Henry VIII,\u00a0Six<\/em>\u00a0has been running in the West End since 2019, and\u00a0at the Lena Horne Theatre on Broadway\u00a0since 2020 (though it officially opened October 3, 2021 due to the pandemic shutdown).\u00a0Six <\/em>on Broadway\u00a0is hosting a special sixth anniversary celebration October 6.<\/p>\n Meanwhile,\u00a0Why Am I So Single?\u00a0<\/em>is about two musical theatre writers navigating the trials of modern dating and writing a musical. It ran last year in the West End and closed earlier this year.<\/p>\n \u201cWe are soooooo excited to be introducing New York to the songs from Why Am I So Single?<\/em>, as well as revisiting some of our favorite (previously unseen!) moments from the journey of Six<\/em>,\u201d said Marlow and Moss in a statement. \u201cOur special guests, Abby Mueller and Joy Woods, are just\u00a0the<\/em> most incredible performers, and we cannot wait for everyone to hear them slay our songs. We\u2019ll be debuting some never-before-heard material and secrets, too, which we are nervous about (in a good way!).
