British singer-songwriter Lola Young<\/a> has announced she is canceling all of her upcoming events just days after collapsing onstage during a performance. <\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m going away for a while,\u201d Young wrote Tuesday on social media<\/a>. \u201cIt pains me to say I have to cancel everything for the foreseeable future. Thank you for all the love and support. I\u2019m so sorry to let anyone down who has bought a ticket to see me, it hurts me more than you know.\u201d <\/p>\n Known for her charming breakout hit \u201cMessy,\u201d Young collapsed onstage Saturday during her performance on the New York stop of the All Things Go music festival. The 24 year-old confirmed Sunday on Instagram<\/a> that she would have to cancel her Washington, D.C., performance set for later that day. <\/p>\n \u201cI love this job and I never take my commitments and audience for granted so I\u2019m sorry to those who will be disappointed by this,\u201d she wrote. \u201cI hope you\u2019ll all give me another chance in the future.\u201d <\/p>\n Among Young\u2019s scheduled events was a North American tour kicking off in November in support of her second album, \u201cI\u2019m Only F\u2014 Myself,\u201d which was released earlier this month. The tour was expected to conclude with two dates at the Hollywood Palladium in December. <\/p>\n Those who had purchased tickets for her shows would \u201cobviously\u201d be entitled to a refund, Young mentioned in her Tuesday post. <\/p>\n \u201cI really hope you\u2019ll give me a second chance,\u201d she wrote, \u201conce I\u2019ve had some time to work on myself and come back stronger.\u201d <\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
