Eric Dane<\/strong>\u2019s daughters are serving as his inspiration to not give up amid his ALS battle.<\/p>\n \u201cI have two daughters at home. I wanna see them graduate college, get married, maybe have grandkids. I wanna be there for all that,\u201d the Grey\u2019s Anatomy<\/em> alum \u2014 who shares Billie<\/strong>, 15, and Georgia<\/strong>, 13 with estranged<\/a> wife Rebecca Gayheart<\/strong> \u2014 said in a video posted to California Congressman Eric Swalwell<\/strong>\u2019s TikTok<\/a> account on Monday, September 29.<\/p>\n \u201cSo I\u2019m gonna fight until the last breath on this one,\u201d the actor, 52, added.<\/p>\n Gayheart recently told People<\/em><\/a> that their daughters are \u201ctaking it day by day\u201d and working with therapists.<\/p>\n \u201cI mean, it\u2019s heartbreaking. My girls are really suffering, and we\u2019re just trying to get through it,\u201d the actress, 54, revealed in the interview, which was published on Saturday, September 27. \u201cIt\u2019s a tough time.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cWe\u2019re just trying to have some hope and do it with dignity, grace and love,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n Dane was visiting the politician as part of his partnership<\/a> with the I Am ALS organization to support the reauthorization of the ACT for ALS bill.<\/p>\n \u201cI wanna ring every bell,\u201d he explained, adding that it often takes so much time for someone to get an ALS diagnosis that they miss out on clinical trials. \u201cThat\u2019s why Act for ALS is so great because it broadens the access for everybody.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n![\"\"](\"https:\/\/staging.starmagazine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/Screenshot-2025-09-30-at-3.03.11-PM.png\")
