After their concert last Thursday at Chase Center<\/a>, the Jonas Brothers stayed another day in San Francisco to feast on Peruvian<\/a> nigiri and grilled meat skewers. The iconic boy band consisting of brothers Nick Jonas, Joe Jonas and Kevin Jonas made a surprise visit to\u00a0La Mar Cebicher\u00eda Peruana for lunch along the city’s waterfront<\/a> on Friday, Sept. 26.<\/p>\n “Honestly, they were relatively discreet,” general manager Jason Wiles told SFGATE. “They just came in looking for a table. They were a party of seven, and we were happy to accommodate them. They didn’t really create a scene or anything like that.”<\/p>\n The musical trio and its entourage wanted to dine al fresco at the Peruvian seafood restaurant next to the Ferry Building<\/a>. So instead of taking them to a private room, the La Mar team seated them out on the patio overlooking the bay, which Wiles said was packed at the time. The Jonas Brothers dined family-style, sharing samplers of the restaurant’s nigiri\u00a0and a variety of anticuchos (grilled meat skewers), including grilled Spanish octopus, as well as a few of its classic larger dishes. Wiles said they seemed to enjoy their meal.<\/p>\n “They were having fun,” he said. “I mean, they were all smiles.”<\/p>\n Despite the packed patio, Wiles said La Mar’s other guests were respectful of the pop stars’ privacy while they dined. However, when executive chef Victoriano Lopez took a photo<\/a> with the Jonas Brothers at the end of their meal, more people started to notice their presence.<\/p>\n “The thing that stuck out is just how much they were just like any of our guests, enjoying the wonderful cuisine and the bay views,” Wiles said. “And they were just so friendly.”<\/p>\n After breaking up in 2013, the Jonas Brothers reunited in 2019.
