The president of Florida A&M University has apologized<\/a> to an Alabama State University dance team after FAMU\u2019s marching band announcer referred to Alabama State\u2019s plus-size dance squad, the Honey Beez, as \u201cthe new face of Ozempic\u201d<\/a> during halftime of Saturday\u2019s football game.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n \u201cDuring the halftime of the Florida A&M University vs. Alabama State University football game, an inappropriate and offensive remark was made by a Marching 100 announcer,\u201d said the statement from Florida A&M president Marva Johnson, posted to the school\u2019s official Instagram account on Sunday.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n Johnson expressed her \u201cdeepest and sincerest apologies\u201d to the team, the marching band, the university community and Alabama State president Quinton T.
