Gloria Estefan says she\u2019s all in for Bad Bunny<\/a> headlining the 2026 Super Bowl Halftime Show.<\/p>\n In a new interview on the Sherri show, the Cuban-American icon gave her stamp of approval for Bad Bunny\u2019s upcoming Super Bowl Halftime Show performance.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m so happy for him,\u201d she said in the video above. \u201cI think it\u2019s great. Obsess.<\/a><\/p>\n \u201cI was shaking everything,\u201d she joked, recalling being lifted 100 feet in the air in Minneapolis despite a fear of heights.<\/p>\n She also shared that Jay-Z<\/a> offered her to join Shakira and Jennifer Lopez for their joint Halftime performance in 2020 but declined.<\/p>\n \u201cIt would have been my third time. But I go, \u2018First of all, they’re already dividing up that time.\u2019 It’s really quick, it’s in and out, and secondly, I was gonna have to diet during Christmas and I did not,\u201d she said, prompting laughter from the audience. \u201cIt’s their moment. Everybody has a moment. I had my moments, it all went well. I don’t wanna push my luck. Two times went great.\u201d<\/p>\n When Shepherd asked if she would join Bad Bunny on stage if invited, Estefan gracefully deflected.<\/p>\n \u201cLook\u2014again, it\u2019s his moment. I think he\u2019s killing it this year. For him, it\u2019s been phenomenal,\u201d she said before recalling dancing the day she saw him perform in Spanish on Saturday Night Live.<\/p>\n \u201cAnytime we can break some ground out there and push the door open further … I think his genre and his own bag, I think somebody like Karol G might be cool,\u201d Estefan noted. \u201cShe\u2019s had a huge year, too. But he probably can burn up that thing for the 12 minutes you\u2019re on there.\u201d<\/p>\n On Sunday (Sept. 28), Bad Bunny was announced as the headliner<\/a> for the Super Bowl LX Halftime Show on Feb. 8, 2025, at Levi\u2019s Stadium in Santa Clara, California.<\/p>\n In a statement, Jay-Z praised the Puerto Rican superstar, saying, \u201cWhat Benito has done and continues to do for Puerto Rico is truly inspiring. We are honored to have him on the world\u2019s biggest stage.\u201d<\/p>\n “What I’m feeling goes beyond myself,” said Bad Bunny in his own bilingual statement. “It’s for those who came before me and ran countless yards so I could come in and score a touchdown\u2026 this is for my people, my culture, and our history.
