Prime Video<\/a> has dropped the first images for Tyler Perry\u2019s Finding Joy, his first holiday film in 12 years, and it stars P-Valley\u2018s Shannon Thornton<\/a>.<\/p>\n The film, previously titled Joy Ridge, is the third in Perry\u2019s four-pic deal with Amazon MGM Studios.<\/p>\n Perry\u2019s last holiday film was A Madea Christmas.<\/p>\n Finding Joy stars Tosin Morohunfola, Brittany S. Hall, Inayah, Eric Stanton Betts, Aaron O\u2019Connell, Natalie O\u2019Connell, Jeffery Thomas Johnson and Whitney Goin. Perry is the writer and director, and he produces the film with Angi Bones and Will Areu.<\/p>\n Here\u2019s the official description for Tyler Perry\u2019s Finding Joy:<\/p>\n Tyler Perry\u2019s Finding Joy\u00a0follows Thornton as Joy, a New York fashion designer whose talents are overshadowed by her boss. Just like her career, Joy has been unlucky in love. Encouraged by her steadfast friends Ashley (Hall) and Littia (Inayah), Joy follows her crush Colton (O\u2019Connell) to Colorado, hoping for holiday magic. Instead, a shocking revelation and a snowstorm leave her stranded.
