Ronan Keating has insisted Boyzone have no plans to make new music or tour the world again.<\/p>\n
\nThe Irish boy band – completed by Keith Duffy, Shane Lynch and Mikey Graham – will play a one-off concert at London’s Emirates Stadium on Saturday June 6, 2026,\u00a0 their first performance since their shows at the London Palladium in 2019.<\/p>\n
\nHowever, fans hoping for a full-blown reunion will be disappointed.<\/p>\n
\nAs quoted by The Sun newspaper, Ronan told assembled media in London this week: “This is not a reunion. We\u2019re not making new music.<\/p>\n
\n“There\u2019s no new music and we\u2019re not getting the band back together to tour the world.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cThis is right now, it\u2019s one show at the Emirates. If we add a night, amazing, it will be two nights at Emirates, but that will be it.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cWe won\u2019t be taking this show anywhere else in the world. We want people to come and see us at the Emirates.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nRonan, 48, said of why a tour isn’t possible: “I don\u2019t think we\u2019re built for it anymore. We can\u2019t do it, honestly.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nHis bandmate Keith, 51, quipped: \u201cWe\u2019re not kids and his knees are gone.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nThe one-off gig was inspired by the rave reviews of the Love Me For A Reason hitmakers’ documentary Boyzone: No Matter What.<\/p>\n
\nA band statement read: “We’ve been truly blown away and humbled by the response to the documentary this year. The love we’ve felt from fans all over the world has inspired us to create the ultimate experience together, headlining our own stadium show.<\/p>\n
\n“The four of us can’t wait to stand together again and enjoy One For The Road.”<\/p>\n
\nA pre-sale takes place on October 7 at 9am, followed by the general sale 9am on October 10.<\/p>\n
\nBoyzone first split in 2000 as its members pursued solo careers, before reuniting in 2007.<\/p>\n
\nThey toured extensively, including their Thank You And Goodnight farewell shows between 2018 and 2019, but have not performed together since.<\/p>\n
\nBoyzone scored six UK number one singles and five UK number one albums, with hits including Love Me For A Reason, Words and No Matter What.<\/p>\n
\nTragedy hit in 2009 when bandmember Stephen Gately died at the age of 33.<\/p>\n
\nRonan has had a successful solo career with hits including When You Say Nothing At All, If Tomorrow Never Comes and Life Is A Rollercoaster.<\/p>\n
\nKeith went on to form Boyzlife with rival band Westlife’s former member Brian McFadden in 2016, who perform songs by both groups.<\/p>\n
\nThe duo will also be on the road between in 2026, between February and March.<\/p>\n
\nThe supergroup have released two albums, 2020’s Strings Attached and 2022’s Old School.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
