Sister Wives<\/em> star Kody Brown<\/strong> has his reasons for wanting to remain a one-woman man.<\/p>\n

During the season 20 premiere<\/a> of the TLC series on Sunday, September 28, the reality TV personality, 56, had a raw conversation with wife Robyn Brown<\/strong>, 46, about whether they should stay in a monogamous marriage in the wake of his splits from Christine Brown<\/strong>, Janelle Brown <\/strong>and\u00a0Meri Brown<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Later, in an explosive confessional, Kody spoke candidly about pursuing a different lifestyle than the one he was accustomed to.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe problem I see in plural marriage is that I don\u2019t think those two ladies can get along once I\u2019m in both of their beds,\u201d Kody claimed. \u201cRobyn was welcomed by the family, and when her and I went on our honeymoon, it felt like it changed. And it wasn\u2019t fair to her. I\u2019m not saying it was fair to them. It\u2019s just the lifestyle we all chose.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThey\u2019re gone, she\u2019s here. I\u2019m moving on, I\u2019m a monogamist, and it pisses me off when people ask me why I wanna be a monogamist. It\u2019s like, \u2018Didn\u2019t you see the mess?’\u201d Kody shouted.<\/p>\n

During their conversation, Kody made it clear he wants to be with just Robyn \u2014 and by the end, the couple agreed that they would not bring another person into their union.<\/p>\n

As Star<\/em> previously reported<\/a>, a teaser for the episode showed Robyn calling her husband a \u201cpig\u201d after discussing his \u201cprimary motivation\u201d for adding another spouse would be inspired by \u201cjust how good looking she is\u201d \u2014 however, she confessed that it was still difficult for her to accept monogamy.<\/p>\n
