The BBC has released the trailer for Coming Home, a documentary about Ozzy Osbourne that is set to debut<\/a> on Oct. 2. The clip showcases Osbourne and his wife Sharon Osbourne \u201cas they plan their dream of moving back to the U.K.\u201d<\/p>\n The trailer opens with the couple traveling in the back of a car. \u201cI\u2019m so looking forward to an English summer,\u201d Osbourne notes in an interview. As they arrive at their Buckinghamshire mansion, Sharon explains that the couple had \u201calways referred to this as home.\u201d \u201cIt looks magnificent, Sharon,\u201d Osbourne replies.<\/p>\n More from Rolling Stone<\/strong><\/p>\n The musician is asked by Sharon if he wants \u201ca quiet life\u201d in his older years and replies, \u201cNo\u2026 Yes, but no.\u201d Their daughter Kelly Osbourne chimes in, \u201cI don\u2019t think it\u2019s possible for either one of them to retire, ever.\u201d<\/p>\n Coming Home was initially set to air on Aug. 18, but was pulled from the TV schedule<\/a> at the last minute due to \u201cthe family\u2019s wishes to wait a bit longer.\u201d The one-hour documentary, directed by Paula Wittig, was filmed over three years. It was originally announced as a series, Home To Roost, in 2022, but the project evolved as Osbourne\u2019s health continued to deteriorate. The metal legend spent the last few years of his life battling Parkinson\u2019s disease, as well as injuries he sustained from a late-night fall in 2019.<\/p>\n The BBC has described the show as a \u201cremarkably candid and uplifting tribute\u201d to one of the world\u2019s \u201ctrue icons.\u201d It feature s\u201cunique and intimate access\u201d to the whole Osbourne family, and also contains footage of Osbourne\u00a0working to get in shape<\/a>\u00a0for his\u00a0farewell concert<\/a>, which took place in early July, just a few weeks\u00a0before his death<\/a>.<\/p>\n Paramount+ recently premiered the official trailer for its own Osbourne documentary,\u00a0No Escape From Now<\/a>, which also spans the past three years of the musician\u2019s life.
