Slough House is a banishment assignment for MI5 service rejects who have seriously failed a task but not badly enough to get fired entirely.<\/p>\n<p>After being awarded the prestigious honor by William, the \u201cDark Knight\u201d actor described the moment as \u201cvery emotional.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Oldman plays the role of Jackson Lamb in the hit Apple TV+ show \u201cSlow Horses.\u201d <span class=\"credit\">AP<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cWe spoke for a minute, but I almost couldn\u2019t find my voice,\u201d he said. \u201cI think I feel very honored, very humbled and flattered, I think in equal measure.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt compares to nothing else. It\u2019s a singular event, that is what it is,\u201d the Golden Globe winner went on.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI thought the Oscar was a big deal. No disrespect to the academy, but it sort of pales in comparison to this.
