A first-look set photo from Avengers: Doomsday has emerged \u2013 leaving fans with a whole range of feelings. The tease was posted by directors the Russo brothers, who shared the mysterious picture on Instagram<\/a>.<\/p>\n In it, we see an unidentified silhouetted figure sitting in the middle of a set, with the directors urging fans in the caption to “look hard”.<\/p>\n Many have been trying to decode the mystery \u2013 which harks back to the pair’s similar stunt before Endgame<\/a> in which a post cryptically revealed the 2019 movie’s title \u2013 though some have been left scratching their heads.<\/p>\n “Brothers I can’t see shit,” one fan joked on Reddit<\/a> in reference to the darkly lit monochrome picture, another quipping on Instagram: “Ok, I tried to look hard but passed out from furrowing my brow too much. Am awaiting further instructions.”<\/p>\n Some others shared their frustration by linking back to their Endgame stunt, one writing on Reddit: “Not this shit again,” another adding: “Oh great. It\u2019s one of these hints again.”<\/p>\n Related: Best film and TV tours for 2025<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n Away from the confusion, however, many others expressed excitement over what the teaser could mean, a fan speculating: “This is surely Avengers vs X-men. I see A | X rather than A v X, but still, a clear separation exists between an A and an X to me.”<\/p>\n “The Avengers ‘A’ on the left. The multiple X-Men ‘X’s’ on the right. The dots on the left side of the crane form a ‘V’ and the dots on the right side form a letter ‘S’. AVENGERS VS. X-MEN. In an additional movie?” another echoed.<\/p>\n As theories do the rounds, one of the movie’s stars \u2013 Chris Hemsworth \u2013 recently shut down speculation that Thor could be killed off<\/a> in Doomsday after he shared a compilation post about his character and thanked fans.<\/p>\n Marvel Studios<\/span><\/p>\n “I was [already] off starting another chapter of this character, and this journey has been the biggest part of my career,” he told The Hollywood Reporter<\/a>. “So [the video] was a moment of gratitude, and it wasn’t anything else.
