\n\t\u201cMy Only Angel,\u201d the first taste of Aerosmith<\/a> and YUNGBLUD<\/a>\u2019s forthcoming collaborative EP, blasts in at No. 1 on Billboard<\/em>\u2019s Hot Hard Rock Songs<\/a> chart (dated Oct. 4). With the entrance, the legendary rock group earns its first No. 1 on the list, which began in 2020, while YUNGBLUD captures his second, after \u201cObey\u201d ruled for a week in September 2020.<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cMy Only Angel\u201d soars in atop the multimetric chart through a combination of 2 million official streams, 1.4 million radio audience impressions and 5,000 song sales in the United States in the Sept. 19-25 tracking week, according to Luminate.<\/p>\n \n\tThe song previews Aerosmith and YUNGBLUD\u2019s joint EP, One More Time<\/em>, due Nov. 21. Among the five tracks is \u201cBack in the Saddle (2025 Mix)\u201d; Aerosmith\u2019s original song by that title that reached No. 38 on the Billboard Hot 100<\/a> in 1977. One More Time<\/em> marks Aerosmith\u2019s first new material since its 2012 album, Music From Another Dimension!<\/em><\/p>\n \n\tConcurrently, \u201cMy Only Angel\u201d debuts at No. 37 on Mainstream Rock Airplay<\/a> as Aerosmith\u2019s 45th appearance on the tally and first since \u201cLover Alot\u201d in 2012. Dating to the radio chart\u2019s launch in March 1981, the group has scored nine No. 1 hits among 24 top 10s. Prior to the new track, the band mined similar lyrical territory with \u201cAngel\u201d (No. 2, 1988) and \u201cAngel\u2019s Eye\u201d (No. 4, 2000).<\/p>\n \n
