The UK is among the 44 members of the International Coalition for the Return of Ukrainian Children.<\/p>\n\u201cWe have received nearly 20,000 reports of children being forcibly taken away, and we are now trying to find each and every child. But this is very difficult. Their names and dates of birth are changed, they are issued Russian documents, and placed in families of strangers. They are forced to live in a new Russian family, accept a new history, and follow a path that leads toward a military career,\u201d the First Lady said.<\/p>\nOlena Rozvadovska, co-founder of the Voices of Children Foundation, and the foundation\u2019s psychologist Nataliia Sosnovenko spoke about the psychological challenges faced by Ukrainian children in Russia: pressure, intimidation, deception \u2013 and about the process of overcoming trauma that they are forced to endure.<\/p>\n
