He\u2019s a former librarian from Northern California who went viral in recent years for sharing daily interactions at his job.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Beloved actor LeVar Burton previously hosted the show from it\u2019s premiere in 1983 to its conclusion in 2006. Threets credits Burton for his love of literature.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">The new show will feature guest stars like \u201cThe Bear\u201d actor Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Chrissy Teigen, John Legend and more.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">The first episode debuts on Oct. 4 at 7:00 a.m. with new episodes out through the end of the month.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\"><i>Copyright 2025 Nexstar Media, Inc.
