Exclusive: Filmmaker Peter Landesman<\/a> has filled four more roles in his indie prison hostage thriller Eleven Days<\/a>, based on true events and the book by William T. Harper<\/a>. New hires include Jeffrey Donovan<\/a>, Jennifer Carpenter<\/a>, Lola Kirke<\/a>, and John Gallagher Jr.<\/a><\/p>\n

Previously announced cast members included Taylor Kitsch<\/a>, Diego Luna<\/a>, and Jason Isaacs<\/a>. Production has just gotten underway this week.<\/p>\n

Eleven Days<\/a> recounts the true story of prisoner Federico Carrasco<\/a> (Luna) taking control of the Huntsville Penitentiary during the sweltering Texas summer of 1974. The prison\u2019s priest, Father<\/a> Joseph O\u2019Brien<\/a> (Isaacs), joins forces with Jim Estelle<\/a> (Kitsch), head of the Texas Department of Corrections, by offering himself as a hostage to out-game Carrasco<\/a> and his men, in an effort to save the lives of the other hostages that have been taken.<\/p>\n

No word yet on roles to be played by the newcomers. The screenplay was written by Kevin Sheridan<\/a>, with revisions by Landesman.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
