J.K. Rowling doesn\u2019t seem very concerned about burning bridges with those she used to work with on one of the most successful film series of all time. The Harry Potter<\/em> author is clapping back at actress Emma Watson after the actress spoke publicly about their complex relationship.<\/p>\n Rowling has known Watson since she was only a child and was cast for the infamous role of Hermione Granger in the film version of the Harry Potter<\/em> hit series. She would go on to continue to play the role from 2001 through 2011.<\/p>\n Unfortunately, since the series has wrapped up, Rowling and Watson have not remained on the best of terms. I just see this world right now where we seem to giving permission to this throwing out of people, or that people are disposable. I will always think that’s wrong,\u201d Watson began.<\/p>\n She went on to say that she would like to have a discussion with Rowling about their differing views. However, she suggested that she hasn\u2019t gotten that opportunity.<\/p>\n “I think the thing I’m most upset about is that a conversation was never made possible,” she said.<\/p>\n However, she made it clear that she doesn\u2019t believe that Rowling should be \u201ccanceled\u201d for being public about her beliefs.<\/p>\n Now, Rowling is responding and is making it clear that she doesn\u2019t care what Watson, or anyone else, thinks of her.<\/p>\n “I’m not owed eternal agreement from any actor who once played a character I created.
