(WCIA) \u2014 Tortured poets, lovers, and showgirls, this one\u2019s for you: Taylor Swift\u2019s album, \u201cThe Life of a Showgirl\u201d comes out at 12 a.m. on Oct. 3. And, Champaign\u2019s Target is one of just a handful of stores in the state that will remain open for the midnight release.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">\u201cThe Life of a Showgirl\u201d is Swift\u2019s 12th studio album. Nine Target stores in Illinois were chosen to remain open past normal closing time to allow fans to purchase exclusive vinyl and CD editions that are only available at Target.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\"><a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"link  yahoo-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.yahoo.com\/news\/articles\/savoy-local-149-workers-pushing-180241179.html\" data-ylk=\"slk:Savoy Local 149 workers pushing for more women in trades;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas;outcm:mb_qualified_link;_E:mb_qualified_link;ct:story;\"> Savoy Local 149 workers pushing for more women in trades <\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">The Target team said there are a couple of things fans need to know ahead of the release.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">First, Target team members will begin to distribute physical or digital tickets in the electronic section of the store beginning at 10 p.m. This ticket serves to reserve your product for purchase. Once you get a ticket, Target said you can continue shopping in the store until 11:45 p.m. Then, you should return to the designated queuing location to make your purchase at midnight.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Tickets will be handed out until they\u2019re all gone, or until there are 10 minutes left before midnight \u2014 whatever comes first.
