The post Amy Poehler and Kristen Wiig Contemplate a \u201cQuieter\u201d Metallica<\/a> appeared first on Consequence<\/a>.<\/p>\n Amy Poehler<\/a> welcomed her good friend and fellow Saturday Night Live alum Kristen Wiig<\/a> to her Good Hang podcast, and somehow the conversation turned to a scenario in which Wiig joins Metallica<\/a> and makes them a \u201cquieter\u201d band.<\/p>\n At one point during the episode, Poehler brought up Wiig\u2019s singing talent, and asked her if she was ever interested in pursuing music professionally. \u201cI would love to do an album, a record,\u201d responded Wiig, \u201cbut I don\u2019t even know how to get started.\u201d She then turned straight into the camera, and added, \u201cCan you weigh in on the comments on this? \u2026 How do you get into the music business?\u201d<\/p>\n Poehler suggested, \u201cYou can join someone\u2019s band\u2026 Whose band should you join?
