On the October 1 episode of Days of our Lives<\/em><\/a>, Chanel and Johnny are convinced they lost their chance to adopt baby Tesoro thanks to a poison pen letter \u2014 and a well-placed photo \u2014 sent by the tot\u2019s birthmother\u2026 a.k.a. Sophia. But we have some questions about this very, very effective plan.<\/p>\n Chanel (Raven Bowens) and Johnny (Carson Boatman) were already caught off guard when the social worker showed up early and found them at their worst. But they decided to roll with it.<\/p>\n Things were looking up when Gillian (Erika Kreutz) liked Chanel\u2019s pastries. But then they came roller-coastering down again, when Gillian pulled out a letter from Tesoro\u2019s birth mother.<\/p>\n We have a question: How do they know this really came from the woman who dropped Tesoro off at the firehouse? We kept waiting for her to put some detail into the letter that only the bio mom could have known. We didn\u2019t hear any.<\/p>\n Tesoro\u2019s rescue got a lot of press, including in the Salem Spectator. ANYONE could have written that letter, just for the evulz. Why were they giving it any credence whatsoever?<\/p>\n Furthermore, the mysterious letter writer stated that they were aware of Johnny\u2019s dalliance with a student\u2026 Holly<\/a> (Ashley Puzemis), because they saw them sexting. Doesn\u2019t that narrow down the suspects to who could have sent the letter to someone in Johnny\u2019s class?<\/p>\n Doesn\u2019t Johnny only teach one class? A class where not just Holly, but also Sophia (Rachel Boyd) is registered? Sophia, who just gave up a baby roughly Tesoro\u2019s age? Sophia, who is one of the only Asian students in the class \u2014 and one of the few Asian families in Salem? And Tesoro is Asian?
