CHICAGO (WGN<\/a>) \u2014 A Chicago-area Target will be staying open late for Taylor Swift and her \u2018Swifties.\u2019<\/p>\n The Target store located at 2656 N. Elston Ave., in the city\u2019s Bucktown neighborhood, will host a special midnight release of Taylor Swift\u2019s twelfth studio album,\u00a0\u201cThe Life of a Showgirl,\u201d at midnight, Oct. 3.<\/p>\n It\u2019s the only Target location in Chicago open late for Taylor Swift fans to purchase exclusive album content, including limited-run vinyl records and CDs with collectible posters.<\/p>\n Taylor Swift\u2019s \u2018The Life of a Showgirl\u2019 is almost here. Here\u2019s what to know <\/a><\/p>\n Beginning at 10 p.m. Thursday, fans can pick up a ticket inside Target to secure their spot in line and return at midnight to redeem their Taylor Swift CDs or vinyl. Target said there will be a designated queuing location at 11:45\u00a0p.m. so that fans can make their purchase at midnight.<\/p>\n Ticketing will take place until all tickets are claimed or 10 minutes before midnight, as stock is limited.<\/p>\n The Elston Target location will stay open until 1 a.m.<\/p>\n Due to high demand, there will be a purchase limit of four per item, per guest, for \u201cThe Life of a Showgirl\u201d items:<\/p>\n \u201cThe Life of a Showgirl: It\u2019s Frightening\u201d CD with poster (Target exclusive)<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n \u201cThe Life of a Showgirl: It\u2019s Rapturous\u201d CD with poster (Target exclusive)<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n \u201cThe Life of a Showgirl: It\u2019s Beautiful\u201d CD with poster (Target exclusive)<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n \u201cThe Life of a Showgirl: Sweat and Vanilla Perfume\u201d CD with poster (standard)<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n \u201cThe Life of a Showgirl: The Crowd Is Your King\u201d with Summertime Spritz Pink Shimmer vinyl with poster (Target exclusive)<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n All told, nearly 500 Target stores nationwide will stay open late for the midnight release.
