Joshua Bassett<\/strong><\/a> may have just hard-launched his new romance.<\/p>\n On Tuesday, Sept. 30, the High School Musical: The Musical: The Series star shared a TikTok<\/a> that featured him with influencer Amelie Zilber<\/strong><\/a>. The video, set to his dreamy new track \u201cBlue,\u201d showed the two laughing and running through a sprinkler together. At one point, Bassett slipped and fell, cheekily writing on the screen, \u201ci literally fell out of the blue.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cblue out now :),\u201d the 24-year-old singer captioned the post. In the lyrics, Bassett croons, \u201cOut of the blue \/ I fell for you,\u201d seemingly a not-so-subtle nod to his budding relationship.<\/p>\n Just days earlier, on Sept. 26, Bassett shared another romantic snap that fans believe also featured Zilber. In the photo, he sat on a bike in his signature striped T-shirt while a woman in a cream-colored tube top and trousers \u2014 who looks very much like Zilber, 23 \u2014 perched on the handlebars facing him. \u201cblue! tuesday!\u201d he teased in the caption.<\/p>\n The social media moment quickly had fans speculating that Bassett was going public with the model and activist. Zilber, who previously dated influencer Blake Gray<\/strong> until their 2023 split, has been open about her passion for advocacy work and boasts a strong online following.<\/p>\n Bassett\u2019s love life has long drawn attention. He was most famously linked to Olivia Rodrigo<\/strong>, with their breakup rumored to inspire her smash hit \u201cDriver\u2019s License\u201d in 2021. The heartbreak anthem referenced a \u201cblonde girl,\u201d widely believed to be Sabrina Carpenter<\/strong>, who was later spotted with Bassett at a Black Lives Matter protest that same year.<\/p>\n Carpenter appeared to address the rumors in her own single, \u201cSkin,\u201d later writing in a since-deleted post, \u201cThe song isn’t calling out one single person. Some lines address a specific situation, while other lines address plenty of other experiences I’ve had this past year.\u201d<\/p>\n For his part, Bassett talked about the drama in an interview with GQ, explaining, “people don’t know anything they’re talking about,” when it comes to the situation. “[Everyone] is asking me about Sabrina and Olivia,” Joshua said. “Why don’t we focus on these women for who they are?
