Robert Irwin has hilariously apologised to his family, who were watching from the audience as he ripped his shirt off during his salsa routine on Dancing With The Stars.<\/em><\/p>\n

The 21-year-old stormed the dance floor <\/a>with his pro partner Witney Carson on Tuesday (30 September), as they performed Tommy Richman\u2019s ‘Million Dollar Baby’.<\/p>\n

He began the sizzling performance in a blue glittery navy shirt before ripping it off and continuing the rest of the dance shirtless.<\/a><\/p>\n

Following the dance, as per<\/a> MailOnline, while speaking to an ABC reporter, Irwin joked: “We thought we’d take it easy on the costume department tonight.”<\/p>\n

He added: “I said to Witney, ”I want to bring out cool Robert.” I was like ”He’s in there somewhere.”<\/p>\n

The son of Terri Irwin and the late Steve Irwin went on to reveal that his whole family<\/a> were watching live from the studio, including his mum and sister, Bindi, 27.<\/p>\n

In a post-show chat, he referenced the shirtless move and joked: “‘Sorry, guys, sorry about that.”<\/p>\n

The wildlife activist later shared a video of the routine on social media<\/a> and wrote: “So much FUN to let loose and show a different side in this week\u2019s salsa! Thank you Witney for helping me find my inner \u2018cool\u2019. I\u2019m so grateful for another week in this competition – truly having the time of my life.”<\/p>\n

Fans took to the replies to joke: “Is your mum ok<\/a> with this?” and “Robert Irwin is about to break the internet again with this moment.”<\/p>\n

While others have even compared him to none other than the Dirty Dancing<\/em> king himself, Patrick Swayze.<\/p>\n

One Instagram<\/a> user commented on the video: “Why is this giving me Patrick Swayze vibes? You did amazing Robert!!!”<\/p>\n

“The jump from the jeep was a little Patrick Swayze, this is all over Patrick Swayze,” added another.<\/p>\n

While other chimed in with: “That jump was giving Swayze vibes!” and “Geriatric Millennials and Gen X! Did y\u2019all see that JOHNNY CASTLE jump off the stage?!? Patrick Swayze would be so proud!\u201d<\/p>\n

Fans of Robert will remember that hysterically, this actually isn’t the first time he’s gone viral for taking his shirt off.<\/p>\n

In April, he collaborated with Bonds, an Australian<\/a> underwear brand, for a campaign aptly titled ‘Made for Down Under’.<\/p>\n

It saw him pose among real-life snakes and crocodiles while donning various colour ways of the boxer-style undies – and fans were loving it.<\/p>\n

It comes after he left fans stunned by his campaign with Aussie underwear company Bonds (Bonds)<\/cite><\/div>\n

He told <\/a>PEOPLE at the time: “It was a pretty immediate yes. I wish I could say I was very suave and cool about the whole thing, but I was like, ‘Yes! Let’s do it!’ Because Bonds in Australia<\/a> is an absolute icon.”<\/p>\n

He added: “Also, I’m at this point in my life where I’m trying to do as many different and random exciting things, and if it’s something that makes me a little bit nervous, that I’ve never done before and <\/em>it’s a bit of an adrenaline rush? That’s what I want to be doing.”<\/p>\n

After seeing the photoshoot, in an interview with<\/a> Entertainment Tonight, sister Bindi joked: “As a sister, there are just some things you can never unsee. I’m scarred for life.<\/p>\n

“I’m kidding. I’m so proud of you, but also I am your sister, so it’s a little hard for me.”<\/p>\n

While mum Terri added: “I probably did 10 or 15 more sit ups after seeing that.”\u2060<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
