Appearing on the Wednesday, October 1, episode of the \u201cTherapuss With Jake Shane\u201d podcast<\/a>, the actress and model opened up about her new man, admitting, \u201cDefinitely a lot is being healed in this relationship.\u201d<\/p>\n

Host Jake Shane<\/strong> noted that he feels that Gerber, 24, and Pullman, 32, \u201care healthy\u201d together, prompting the Bottoms<\/em> star to declare, \u201cI\u2019m gonna cry!\u201d<\/p>\n

Gerber then advised listeners to date a friend if they can, suggesting that she and the Thunderbolts<\/em> actor<\/a> first got to know each other platonically before their relationship turned romantic.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tLewis Pullman is not sharing any details about his relationship with Kaia Gerber. \u201cI don\u2019t have a date tonight,\u201d Pullman, 32, told Entertainment Tonight while attending the Thunderbolts* movie premiere in Los Angeles on Monday, April 28. \u201cMy family\u2019s my date!\u201d When asked about \u201ca certain brunette,\u201d Pullman did not spill any secrets about his [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cI really feel like if you have the opportunity to date a friend, do it, because it just is so much better,\u201d she explained. \u201cI never wanna fight with my friends. I never wanna be mad at my friends. I respect my friends. It just is like a whole other thing, and I think sometimes you forget you like someone when you love them.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIf you can date your friends, you should, or date someone that you would be friends with anyways,\u201d Gerber continued. \u201cDon\u2019t just date someone because you\u2019re sexually attracted to them or in lust with them. You should sleep with those people, for sure, but you don\u2019t need to make them your partners.\u201d<\/p>\n

During Wednesday\u2019s podcast appearance, the daughter of Cindy Crawford<\/strong> and Rande Gerber<\/strong> admitted that she often adapted her personality for her older boyfriends.<\/p>\n

\u201cI would completely just change my personality and my values for someone. I always dated people that were older than me, so I was very willing to give up everything,\u201d Gerber said. \u201cI was like, \u2018I can show you I love you by completely giving up my life for you,\u2019 which is actually not how you build respect and trust, and is not good in the long run.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cBecause then you start to bring a little bit more of who you really are into the relationship and they\u2019re like, \u2018No, I liked that person before,\u2019\u201d she added.<\/p>\n
