\n\tAs Keith Urban<\/a> and Nicole Kidman\u2019s relationship is undergoing changes, so is the country star\u2019s music.<\/p>\n \n\tAt a recent concert, Urban switched up a lyric in \u201cThe Fighter\u201d \u2014 a song he has previously said was inspired by his now estranged wife \u2014 to reference tourmate Maggie Baugh. Rather than singing \u201cWhen they\u2019re tryna get to you, baby I\u2019ll be the fighter,\u201d Urban sang instead \u201cWhen they\u2019re tryna get to you, Maggie I\u2019ll be your guitar player.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tThe lyric change came as Urban was performing the song with Baugh \u2014 who has been supporting him on his ongoing tour \u2014 playing guitar next to him on stage. The 25-year-old rising country artist shared the footage of the moment on her Instagram<\/a> on Saturday (Sept. 27), just two days before Billboard <\/em>confirmed<\/a> that Urban and Kidman had separated after 19 years of marriage.<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cDid he just say that,\u201d Baugh captioned the clip.<\/p>\n \n\tThe alteration comes nine years after Urban dropped \u201cThe Fighter\u201d with Carrie Underwood. The track reached No. 38 on the Billboard Hot 100<\/a> and No. 2 on the Hot Country Songs<\/a> chart.<\/p>\n \n\tIn 2017, the Australian-American singer told Billboard<\/a> <\/em>about how a talk with Kidman had served as the inspiration for \u201cThe Fighter.\u201d \u201cIt\u2019s all from a conversation my wife and I had early on in our relationship, that when things get tough, I need to hold her tighter and just try to take care of her,\u201d he said at the time. \u201cThe song is about wanting to heal somebody, wanting to take care of somebody, wanting to protect somebody. It\u2019s really like a vow in so many ways.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tUrban first started dating the Golden Globe winner in 2005, and the couple tied the knot the following year. They share two teenage daughters.<\/p>\n \n\tOne day after it was revealed that they had separated<\/a> after two decades together, Kidman filed for divorce on Tuesday (Sept. 30), citing \u201cmarital difficulties and irreconcilable differences.\u201d<\/p>\n
