The singer revealed some lyrics from the upcoming songs at a Spotify event on Wednesday. And there\u2019s already a nod to her current romance.<\/p>\n Taylor\u2019s new album, The Life of a Showgirl, drops on October 3. As usual, the singer and her team have come up with an impressive promotional campaign. From glittery cardigans<\/a> to a Target ad, they\u2019ve gone all out with the stunts and gimmicks.<\/p>\n On Tuesday 30 September, a Spotify pop-up was held<\/a> in New York City. The event featured decadent decor and video messages from the singer. Fans were also treated to a few sneak peaks from the album \u2013 including several lyrics.<\/p>\n One line scribbled on a mirror read: \u201cOftentimes it doesn\u2019t feel so glamorous to be me,\u201d reports Billboard<\/a>.<\/p>\n Another was featured on a banner above a stage. It said: \u201cEveryone\u2019s unbothered \u2018til they\u2019re not.\u201d<\/p>\n The lyrics were not only included in the pop-up, but plastered on billboards in various cities around the world, including NYC, Los Angeles, Las Vegas and S\u00e3o Paulo.<\/p>\n On Wednesday, a new lyric appeared at the pop-up and in London. It read: \u201cYou wanna take a skate on the ice inside my veins?\u201d The line is likely to be a reference to fianc\u00e9 Travis Kelce\u2019s<\/span> previous stint playing ice hockey.<\/p>\n The pop-up event is only the beginning of the album\u2019s promotional push. The Release Party of a Showgirl movie hits theaters on Friday, and Taylor is also set to make several rare appearances on chat shows.
