Silas \u201cUncle Si\u201d Robertson is prioritizing his health. <\/p>\n
Justin Martin, a longtime employee and friend of the Robertson family\u2019s Duck Commander business, revealed that the \u201cDuck Dynasty\u201d star, 77, has been hospitalized.<\/p>\n
Martin took to social media on Wednesday to share an update on Si\u2019s recovery.<\/p>\n \u201cBefore any rumors get started, yes Uncle Si is in the hospital,\u201d he wrote on Instagram<\/a>. \u201cHe\u2019s doing very well but was having a little trouble whooping a severe sinus infection.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cHe\u2019s very much on the mend and will be discharged soon,\u201d Martin concluded. \u201cIt\u2019s awesome to be surrounded by guys who practice what they preach. Full story will drop on the @duckcallroom<\/a> soon!\u201d<\/p>\n Fans flocked to the comments section to share their well wishes for the A&E star.<\/p>\n \u201cGet that man an extra strong batch of iced tea n he\u2019ll be good to go,\u201d one user wrote while a second chimed in, \u201cWe love you Uncle Si \ud83d\ude4f\u2764\ufe0f.\u201d<\/p>\n Viewers were first introduced to Si in 2012 on \u201cDuck Dynasty.\u201d<\/p>\n Si\u2019s brother, Phil Robertson, founded Duck Commander in 1972, with the show premiering 40 years later. The series ran on A&E until 2017.<\/p>\n The original show featured Phil Robertson, who died in May 2025<\/a>, his wife Kay Robertson, and their sons\u00a0Willie Robertson, Jep Robertson\u00a0and\u00a0Jase Robertson.<\/p>\n Willie, 53, and his wife,\u00a0Korie Robertson, 51, daughter\u00a0Sadie Robertson, 28,\u00a0and son\u00a0John Luke Robertson, 29, also starred.<\/p>\n In 2014, Phil\u2019s homophobic and racially insensitive comments in a GQ magazine article sparked backlash and led to a brief suspension by the network. <\/p>\n After eight years off the air, the iconic\u00a0reality show returned to television<\/a> in June.<\/p>\n The two-season reboot, titled \u201cDuck Dynasty: The Revival,\u201d consists of 20 one-hour episodes.<\/p>\n The new series followed Willie and Korie and \u201ctheir growing family of adult children and grandchildren, the next generation of Robertsons living on the family homestead in Louisiana,\u201d per the network\u2019s press release in January.<\/p>\n Willie and Korie\u2019s other children, including\u00a0Will Jr.,\u00a0Bella, 23, and\u00a0Rebecca, 36, also made an appearance alongside Si,\u00a0Kay and Sadie.<\/p>\n When the news broke, Sadie\u00a0took to social media<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cSecret\u2019s out! \ud83e\udd86 Our family is going back home to A&E with\u00a0#DuckDynasty<\/a>: The Revival!\u201d she penned.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s wild to think how much has changed, but also how much has stayed the same. New kids, new spouses, new businesses, new fun\u2026ALL the generations and no end to the adventures (and yes, probably some misadventures too)! \ud83d\ude02\u201d<\/p>\n Just one week prior to the show\u2019s launch, the Robertson family announced that Phil passed away after a battle with Alzheimer\u2019s disease. He was 79.<\/p>\n \u201cWe celebrate today that our father, husband, and grandfather, Phil Robertson, is now with the Lord,\u201d Korie shared in a statement. \u201cHe reminded us often of the words of Paul, \u2018You do not grieve like those who have no hope. For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n Sadie, for her part, wrote: \u201cIt was his testimony that changed his life, our families life, and thousands of others. Now he is experiencing it in the fullness. Fully alive in Christ. The new has come.
