DJ Envy<\/a> recently offered a candid reflection on Dame Dash’s explosive return to <\/a>The Breakfast Club<\/em><\/a>, asserting that the Roc-A-Fella co-founder is currently “doing the worst” among his industry peers.<\/p>\n During a visit to VladTV, DJ Envy admitted he was not surprised when “all hell broke loose” during Dash’s appearance. He referenced Dash’s first time on the show, when Dash had a “boss conversation” that seemed to talk down on people with “regular jobs.”<\/p>\n Envy said that “regular jobs are the jobs that support everybody,” including those who bought Rocawear and CDs by the label back in the day.<\/p>\n He stressed that one can be both an employee and an entrepreneur, noting that even high-profile figures like LeBron James<\/a> and Messi<\/a> are employees of major companies.<\/p>\n COMPLEX SHOP:<\/b> Shop the brands you love, anytime and anywhere. I’m an entrepreneur but I have a job and I have no problem with that and I’m proud to say it,” Envy said.<\/p>\n Envy then reflected on Dame’s more recent comments on The Breakfast Club<\/em><\/a>. He laughed off Dame’s accusation that Charlamagne is gay and called Dame a “hater” for saying Charlamagne has a “crush” on Jay-Z.<\/p>\n Dame called Charlemagne a “Chatty Patty,” but Envy said that Dame talks about “everybody else” in “every interview he does,” making Dame himself “the biggest Chatty Patty.”<\/p>\n Envy brought his point home by explaining how “sad” it is to see Dame go out this way when all of his peers are doing well.<\/p>\n “Whether it’s Jay, whether it’s Kevin Liles, whether it’s Cam’ron, whether it’s Kanye, all the things and people he was around and everybody else is doing great,” Envy said. “[Dame] doesn’t look like he’s doing that great to me.”<\/p>\n He continued, “Just in my opinion, it just looks bad. Like we remember, we want to remember Dame from Roc-A-Fella from creating the big organization that had artists like the State Property, Memphis Bleek, Cam’ron, Hov. We want to remember Rocawear. We want to remember those movies he produced. We want to remember that, but that’s not where his legacy is leading him to.
