Megadeth<\/a> have released “Tipping Point,” the first single off their\u00a0upcoming\u00a0final album.<\/p>\n You can\u00a0listen to the song and see the lyrics to “Tipping Point” below.<\/p>\n “Tipping Point” is textbook Megadeth \u2014\u00a0which is to say it’s a full-throttle thrasher\u00a0crammed with blazing solos, crunchy riffs and\u00a0relentless double-bass drumming.<\/p>\n “Tipping Point”\u00a0marks Megadeth’s first studio recording with new guitarist\u00a0Teemu Mantysaari<\/a>, who replaced Kiko Loureiro<\/a> in 2023.\u00a0The self-titled\u00a0album will be the band’s first with bassist James LoMenzo<\/a> since 2009’s\u00a0Endgame<\/em>.<\/p>\n Megadeth will release Megadeth<\/em> in 2026 and support the album with a\u00a0global farewell tour<\/a>, which Mustaine announced in August.<\/p>\n “We’ve made a lot of friends over the years and I hope to see all of you on our global farewell tour,” he said. “Don’t be mad, don’t be sad, be happy for us all, come celebrate with me these next few years. We have done something together that’s truly wonderful and will probably never happen again.
