Taylor Swift appeared on U.K. radio show Heart Breakfast<\/em> on Friday, Oct. 3, to promote the release of her new album, The Life of a Showgirl<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n The pop superstar, 35, discussed her 12th studio album and her engagement to footballer Travis Kelce<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n “He was paying attention,” Swift said of Kelce designing her engagement ring, adding that she had shown him jeweler Kindred Lubeck’s designs “a year and a half” before he popped the question<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n Travis Kelce<\/a> nailed picking out an engagement ring for Taylor Swift<\/a>!<\/p>\n During an appearance on the U.K. radio show Heart Breakfast<\/em><\/a> on Friday, Oct. 3, the pop superstar, 35, opened up about her engagement to Kelce, also 35, and how much thought the footballer put into designing her sparkler.<\/p>\n After hosts Emma Bunton<\/a> and Jamie Theakston congratulated Swift on the engagement and asked her to see the ring, Swift shared of Kelce, “He designed it with this amazing jeweler, Kindred Lubeck. She does all of her gold engraving by hand.<\/p>\n “I had shown him a video, I just thought her stuff was so cool, I had shown him a video like a year and a half ago and he was just paying attention to everything it turns out because when I saw the ring I [gasped] … I was like, ‘I know who made this, I know who made this,’ and also, you listen to me!\u201d<\/p>\n “It was like, you really know me. I didn’t know what I would want, but he did somehow, and that’s kind of a flex,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n Swift and Kelce announced their engagement on Aug.26<\/a>, in a post on Instagram<\/a> alongside photos from the floral-filled proposal.<\/p>\n “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married \ud83e\udde8,\u201d the post was captioned.<\/p>\n
