NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) \u2014 Swifties gathered early Friday morning as the Starbucks on 21st Avenue in Nashville transformed into a giant glittery vinyl record to celebrate the latest album from superstar Taylor Swift.<\/p>\n

Swift\u2019s 12th record, \u201cThe Life of a Showgirl,\u201d was unleashed into the world Friday, Oct. 3. Listening parties were held across globe after the album dropped at midnight.<\/p>\n

    Starbucks began a drink offer campaign<\/a> once the album dropped. Rewards members can claim a free drink for staying up late for the new music.<\/p>\n

    Fans have lined up as crews began to rebrand the coffee shop as \u201cStarbies,\u201d complete with a selfie station, a lounge area, teal and green lighting (Showgirl\u2019s signature colors) and a massive, orange glitter vinyl.<\/p>\n

    The Belcourt is also holding a\u00a0listening party<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0for the album the whole weekend, as the theatre is one of select theaters nationwide airing The Official Release Party of a Showgirl.<\/p>\n

    The event will see the premiere of the official music video for one of the album\u2019s tracks, \u201cThe Fate of Ophelia,\u201d as well as lyric videos and Taylor\u2019s reflections on songs from the brand new album.     \u201cThe Life of a Showgirl\u201d is streaming on all major platforms, including Spotify, Apple Music and Amazon Music.<\/p>\n

    Spotify announced Monday that Swift\u2019s album surpassed five million pre-saves on their platform to become the most pre-saved album in its history. The previous title holder? Her 2024 album \u201cThe Tortured Poets Department.\u201d<\/p>\n
