The Kansas City Chiefs star, Patrick Mahomes<\/span><\/strong>, recently shared excitement for his teammate\u2019s fianc\u00e9e, Taylor Swift<\/span><\/strong>, and the release of her new album. In August 2025, Swift, who is engaged to Travis Kelce, announced that she\u2019ll be dropping her 12th studio album, The Life of a Showgirl, today, on October 3, 2025. Mahomes revealed that they look forward to blasting Swift\u2019s new release throughout the Chiefs\u2019 facility.<\/p>\n In a radio interview with Carrington Harrison at \u00a096.5 The Fan<\/a>, Mahomes revealed that he\u2019s \u201csuper excited\u201d for Swift\u2019s The Life of a Showgirl release. He said, \u201cI haven\u2019t been able to hear the album yet, but I\u2019m super excited to be able to do that. And it\u2019ll be blaring all through the Chiefs\u2019 facility tomorrow. We\u2019ll be supporting Taylor.\u201d He praised Swift for putting in \u201cso much hard work\u201d in her upcoming album. \u201cI\u2019m excited to hear the album just like everybody else,\u201d he said enthusiastically.<\/p>\n In August, the Reputation artist announced her album on the New Heights podcast<\/a>, co-hosted by Travis Kelce. There, she revealed that she informed Max Martin, whom she regards as her mentor, about working on a new album during her Eras tour. She said, \u201cI essentially said to him, \u2018I want to be as proud of an album as I am of the Eras Tour and for the same reasons,\u2019 and he was like, \u2018Do you understand what kind of pressure that is?’\u201d<\/p>\n Adding to how much she loves this album, she added, \u201cWe knew that we had to bring the best ideas we\u2019ve ever had, and I also know the pressure I\u2019m putting on this record by saying that, but I don\u2019t care because I love it that much, and I\u2019m so proud of it, and it just comes from like the most infectiously joyful, wild, dramatic place I was in in my life, and so that effervescence has come through on this record.\u201d<\/p>\n She further revealed that while working on the album, she had two primary goals.
