A fan favorite alum from the iconic ’70s show The Brady Bunch posted a sweet tribute on social media after learning of the death of the legendary Jane Goodall<\/strong>. Maureen McCormick<\/strong>, who played Marcia Brady on the show, took to Instagram<\/a> on October 2 to share her thoughts.<\/p>\n McCormick posted a simple black-and-white photo of Goodall. Her visit to California was a stop on a speaking tour of the United States that she has been doing.<\/p>\n As the Jane Goodall Institute noted<\/a>, she worked for nearly six decades to protect chimpanzees and build support for species conservation of all types. She had scheduled appearances for October 3 in Los Angeles, California, and October 7 in Washington, D.C.<\/p>\n McCormick’s social media followers joined her in mourning the loss of Goodall.<\/p>\n “God bless Jane Goodall. Her legacy is eternal. Love you Maureen,” one fan commented<\/a> on Instagram.<\/p>\n Another of McCormick’s fans noted<\/a>, “#JaneGoodall was the Original Influencer.”<\/p>\n “An intelligent and compassionate woman. She will be missed,” added someone else<\/a>.<\/p>\n “Wonderful woman who was not only a friend but a mentor to so many. Rest in Peace,” read an additional comment<\/a>.<\/p>\n McCormick was one of many celebrities to pay tribute to Goodall after learning of her death.
