Mother Monster has a good romance.<\/p>\n
And thanks to her happy relationship with fianc\u00e9 Michael Polansky<\/a>, Lady Gaga is now looking ahead to tying the knot and becoming a mom.<\/p>\n The pop star, 39, whose real name is Stefani Germanotta, appeared on\u00a0\u201cThe Late Show with Stephen Colbert\u201d<\/a> in a pre-taped episode on Thursday. <\/p>\n Gaga explained to the late-night host, 61, that she hopes motherhood is her next big adventure.<\/p>\n \u201cI would like to do many things,\u201d she admitted. \u201cAll of these things are open. But, what I really want is to be a mom. That\u2019s my next starring role, I hope.\u201d<\/p>\n This isn\u2019t the first time Gaga has openly expressed her desire to become a mother in recent years.<\/p>\n After Polansky, 42, popped the question<\/a>, Gaga spoke about her dreams during an interview with\u00a0Access Hollywood<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cI really want to be a mom,\u201d she softly revealed with a smile. \u201cThe greatest vision I have is that.\u201d<\/p>\n Gaga is already prepared to allow her future kids to follow their dreams. <\/p>\n \u201cThat\u2019s something Michael and I have talked about a lot \u2014\u00a0allowing our kids to be their own people,\u201d the singer told Elle<\/a>\u00a0in January. \u201cIt\u2019s such an intense thing for kids coming into the world.\u201d<\/p>\n Gaga added, \u201cAnd they\u2019re told how to think and what to believe in and how to eat \u2026 I just kind of want to let my kids find out who they are.\u201d<\/p>\n The interviewer also noted how having children humbles you as a parent, to which the actress quipped, \u201cOh, I\u2019m ready.\u201d<\/p>\n Gaga has even mulled how her kids would handle her stardom<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cI would want my children to understand that whatever my artistry means to them is totally up to them,\u201d the Grammy winner admitted. \u201cI would never actually want to shape it or tell them how to think about me.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cMaybe other than that I just did my best. And tried to stay true to myself along the way,\u201d Gaga detailed. \u201cMy kid might one day say, \u2018Mom, why do you do these things? I saw a funny video of you dressed up.\u2019 Most certainly that will happen. And you know, maybe it\u2019s okay to say, \u2018What do you think?\u2019 \u201d<\/p>\n Meanwhile, just last month the \u201cAbracadabra\u201d artist took home the Artist of the Year award at the\u00a0MTV Music Video Awards 2025<\/a> and gave her fianc\u00e9 a sweet shout-out.\u00a0<\/p>\n \u201cTo my partner in all things, Michael,\u201d Gaga gushed. \u201cCreating this year with you was a beautiful, beautiful dream. You have been my partner every step of the way. I dedicate this to you, too, my love.\u201d<\/p>\n
