Mariah the Scientist, \u201cPretty Promises\u201d\t<\/h2>\n \n\tAmongst the new deluxe edition of Kali Uchis\u2019 excellent album Sincerely<\/em>, the neo-soul star teams back up with R&B singer Mariah the Scientist for another home run track, \u201cPretty Promises.\u201d Throughout the song\u2019s undulating, fluid melodies, Kali and Mariah trade verses about the importance of loyalty in love, all while maintaining their own otherworldly vocals in the process. <\/p>\n\n\t\tHoney Dijon feat. Chl\u00f6e, \u201cThe Nightlife\u201d\t<\/h2>\n \n\tHoney Dijon remains ahead of the curve with her latest release, \u201cThe Nightlife,\u201d featuring R&B phenom Chl\u00f6e giving a stellar vocal performance to one of Dijon\u2019s meticulously crafted productions. On this mid-tempo ode to the club scene, Dijon and Chl\u00f6e create an immediate vibe with their collaboration, toeing the line perfectly between the producer\u2019s more dance-ready cuts and the singer\u2019s moody vocals. <\/p>\n
\n\t\tThe Last Dinner Party, \u201cSecond Best\u201d\t<\/h2>\n \n\tIn the latest cut off their forthcoming album From the Pyre<\/em>, The Last Dinner Party are done settling for a silver medal. \u201cSecond Best\u201d sees the group skewering a love interest who wants to have their cake and eat it, too, with lead singer Abigail Morris wondering why she\u2019s been relegated to the role of mistress in her latest relationship. After she realizes that \u201che\u2019s waiting downstairs,\u201d Morris switches gears, angrily asking her partner over ratcheting-up guitars \u201cwhat do I do to be better for you?\u201d <\/p>\n\n\t\tInk, Big Buskin\u2019<\/em> \t<\/h2>\n\n\tAfter helping pen breakout hits for massive artists like Beyonc\u00e9, Kendrick Lamar and Latto, songwriter Ink is ready to add a hyphen to her title and become a singer-songwriter. Big Buskin\u2019,<\/em> her new solo project, sees Ink going back to her days of street performing in Atlanta, as she lets her Southern roots bleed into songs like \u201cComin\u2019 Back,\u201d \u201cGod\u2019s Been Drinkin’\u201d and more.
