Michelle<\/strong> and Barack Obama<\/strong> reached an impressive marriage milestone!<\/p>\n

On Friday, October 3, the power couple marked their 33rd wedding anniversary with heartfelt messages on Instagram.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019ve been on quite the journey over the last 33 years \u2014 and yet, I love you even more today than the day we said \u2018I do,’\u201d the former first lady, 61, captioned a sweet snap<\/a> of her and Barack. \u201cHappy anniversary, @BarackObama! I\u2019m so lucky to go through life with you. \u2764\ufe0f.\u201d<\/p>\n

As for the former president of the United States, 64, he shared the same picture<\/a> as Michelle and captioned it, \u201cThe best decision I ever made was marrying you, @MichelleObama.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cFor 33 years, I\u2019ve admired your strength, grace, and determination \u2014 and the fact that you look so good doing it all,\u201d he added. \u201cHappy anniversary!\u201d<\/p>\n

As Globe<\/em> previously reported,<\/a> the pair have been plagued by divorce rumors over the last few months, especially after Barack attended the inauguration of President Donald Trump<\/strong> by himself in January.<\/p>\n

Additionally, last week, the A Promised Land<\/em> author revealed that his eight years in the Oval Office caused marital issues.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was digging myself out of the hole I found myself with Michelle,\u201d Barack admitted in an interview with historian David Olusoga<\/strong>, per the Daily Mail<\/em><\/a>. \u201cNow I\u2019m at about level ground.\u201d<\/p>\n

In April, Barack expressed similar remarks about how his time serving the country from 2009 to 2017 affected his relationship with the IMO<\/em> podcast host<\/a>, according to The Hill<\/a>.<\/em><\/p>\n
