With the release comes a documentary showing in theaters this weekend.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">On Friday, auditoriums filled up with Swifties who were, well, \u201cenchanted\u201d to watch \u201cThe Official Release Party of a Showgirl.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Here\u2019s a sample of what fans told Our Quad Cities News on Friday night:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"mb-4\">\n<li class=\"ml-4 list-disc\">\n<div class=\"\">\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">\u201cI laughed, I cried. It was amazing.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"ml-4 list-disc\">\n<div class=\"\">\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">\u201cThe music video is really good.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"ml-4 list-disc\">\n<div class=\"\">\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">\u201cIt\u2019s very upbeat.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"ml-4 list-disc\">\n<div class=\"\">\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">\u201cI liked the behind-the-scenes of it, because it showed how creative she could be.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">For some, they loved Swift\u2019s commentary during the movie. For example, Swift tells her fans \u201cI can see you.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">\u201cIt was kind of like you were face-timing Taylor, because she was just talking to the screen and it wasn\u2019t like a normal movie,\u201d said a fan.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">The pop star, who made her break in the mid 2000s, now has generations of \u201cnew romantics\u201d enjoying her music.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">\u201cMy mom loves her too and we\u2019re always listening to her,\u201d said a fan who came with her mother. \u201cI love listening to her music because whenever I\u2019m feeling down it makes me feel really happy and my mood is just lifted,\u201d said another fan.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Those waiting in line at the theater made friendship bracelets, an \u201cinvisible string\u201d bringing fans closer. Some fans wore boas, others wore friendship bracelets, and others had various bling from Swift\u2019s tours.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">\u201cI think it\u2019s really cool how we can all come together and form friendships, even if it\u2019s just for the day, \u2019cause we all have a similarity that we all come together to like Taylor Swift,\u201d said a fan who made a bracelet with the number 13, signifying Swift\u2019s favorite number.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">A feeling they know \u201call too well.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">\u201cShe is unapologetically herself,\u201d said a fan who has a tattoo of the title of the Swift song \u201cSafe &amp; Sound.\u201d \u201cShe encourages you to be yourself.
