Prince William<\/a> is revealing which of actor Eugene Levy<\/a>‘s comedy films he’s a major fan of \u2014 and his top choice happens to be a raunchy sex comedy.<\/p>\nIn the third season of Levy’s Apple TV+ series\u00a0The Reluctant Traveler<\/a>, the Prince of Wales, 43, speaks at length with the actor, reflecting on his family’s history and how he’s making things different for the next generation of royals.<\/p>\nBut at the outset of their conversation during an episode titled \u201cLiving the Royal Life in the U.K.,” William first jokes, “I heard you were in town, so I thought, why not get you over here? I was a big fan of your earlier films, Eugene, all the American Pies.”<\/p>\n
He goes on to explain, “I\u2019m afraid I was, I was of that generation.”<\/p>\n
Levy then asks who watched American Pie, released in 1999 with sequels following in the early 2000s, with him.<\/p>\n
“Lots of my friends,” Prince William explains.<\/p>\n
The duo later headed to a local pub to continue their conversation. While there, they discussed the health status of William’s wife, Kate Middleton<\/a>, and his father, King Charles<\/a>.<\/p>\nAsked how they’re both doing now, William says, “Things are good. Everything is progressing in the right way, which is all good news. But, it\u2019s been, I\u2019d say 2024 was the hardest year that I\u2019ve ever had. Trying to sort of balance protecting the children, Catherine. My Father needs a bit of protection, but he\u2019s, you know, he\u2019s old enough to do that himself as well.”<\/p>\n
