Gerry Turner, the original Golden Bachelor, is officially “off the market” again.<\/p>\n
The 74-year-old reality star announced his engagement to girlfriend Lana Sutton in an Instagram post<\/a> shared Friday.<\/p>\n “We’ve got BIG news. The Golden Bachelor is OFF the market. I love you, Babe, more than I ever thought possible!”<\/p>\n The engagement comes 15 months after Turner\u2019s split from ex-wife Teresa Nist, who won his heart on The Golden Bachelor in 2023.<\/p>\n The pair married in a televised ceremony that January at La Quinta Resort and Club in California but announced their divorce just three months later.<\/p>\n Turner and Sutton went public with their relationship<\/a> earlier this year, and a few months prior, in December 2024, Turner announced that he was diagnosed with Waldenstr\u00f6m’s macroglobulinemia<\/a>.<\/p>\n Waldenstr\u00f6m’s macroglobulinemia is a rare blood cancer that results in an excess of abnormal white blood cells in the bone marrow, according to the National Institute of Health<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
