In case Michigan “Gilmore Girls” fans didn’t get enough of Stars Hollow in Brighton last month<\/a>, Lapeer is hosting a one-night-only downtown transformation into the popular TV show’s home.<\/p>\n Lapeer’s Stars Hollow Harvest event will take place downtown Lapeer on Oct. 17 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. The event will celebrate the 25th anniversary of “Gilmore Girls” and honor small businesses as the heartbeat of small towns, according to the Lapeer Area Chamber of Commerce<\/a>.<\/p>\n “Gilmore Girls” is an American television show with seven seasons<\/a> airing from 2000 to 2007. The first episode of the show aired on Oct. 5, 2000.<\/p>\n More: <\/strong>Brighton transforms into ‘Stars Hollow.’ What to know about ‘Gilmore Girls’ festival<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n Stars Hollow Harvest goers can start their night with a mock town hall meeting and obtaining a Stars Hollow passport in the upper level of Axecadia, 55 West Nepessing St., according to a flyer on the chamber’s website.<\/p>\n After grabbing a passport, “Gilmore Girls” fans and community members can check out businesses like Luke’s at The Doghouse Cafe, 454 West Nepessing St., and Weston’s Bakery at Kookys N Cream, 374 West Nepessing St.<\/p>\n Hummingbird House Designs<\/a>, 128 West Nepessing St., plans to be the Dragonfly Inn for the night with shirts, mugs, candles and other “Gilmore Girls” inspired designs.<\/p>\n Fan’s can grab a bit to eat at Woodchips BBQ, 315 West Nepessing St., like Lorelai and Rory would eat a Friday night dinner at Richard and Emily Gilmore’s, according to the Chamber of Commerce.<\/p>\n The event is fan-led and not affiliated with Warner Brothers or affiliates, according to the Lapeer Area Chamber of Commerce.<\/p>\n More information can be found on Lapeer business Facebook pages and on the Lapeer Area Chamber of Commerce website<\/a>.<\/p>\n
