Beloved New Jersey music legend Bruce Springsteen<\/a> recently expressed his disdain for karaoke.<\/p>\n Springsteen, 76, described his only karaoke performance as \u201cdisappointing\u201d during an appearance on \u201cJimmy Kimmel Live!\u201d Thursday.<\/p>\n The \u201cBorn in the U.S.A\u201d singer joined actor Jeremy Allen White<\/a>, who will play Springsteen in an upcoming biopic<\/a>, on the late night talk show.<\/p>\n Springsteen detailed an occurrence when he performed karaoke, revealing that it was the only time he\u2019d ever done so and would not do it again.<\/p>\n \u201cSo I assume I\u2019m going to get up there. I\u2019m going to sing a few notes and this place is going to go wild. So I got up there. I started singing, and they thought I was just another ass—- who got up on stage and was trying to do karaoke,\u201d The Boss said. \u201c\u201dSo it was really disappointing. I\u2019ve never done it again.”<\/p>\n Before Springsteen chronicled his karaoke experience, White, 34, spoke about singing in character while filming at Asbury Park\u2019s Stone Pony<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cThere\u2019s about 300 really excited background actors and most of them are from New Jersey and maybe even from around Asbury Park,\u201d White said.<\/p>\n The late night talk show host asked White if he will ever perform any Springsteen songs for karaoke in the future and the actor\u2019s response was swift.<\/p>\n \u201cI hadn\u2019t even thought of that.
