Progressive commentator Ana Kasparian completely unloaded on members of President<\/span> Donald Trump<\/span><\/a>\u2019s MAGA fanbase Friday who are outraged by Latin artist <\/span>Bad Bunny<\/span><\/a> performing at the Super Bowl 2026 halftime show, calling their anger \u201cdumb.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n \u201cLike, whatever, it\u2019s football, who cares, like, it\u2019s just, this is so dumb … this obsession with instilling fear and destroying any fun or entertainment in the country on behalf of your political message is gross,\u201d Kasparian told co-host Cenk Uygur on Friday\u2019s episode of \u201cThe Young Turks.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n Bad Bunny\u2019s <\/span>upcoming performance <\/span><\/a>at the Super Bowl halftime show <\/span>sparked fury <\/span><\/a>among many on the right, who <\/span>complained<\/a> that the artist didn\u2019t have songs in English, had criticized Trump and immigration enforcement and <\/strong>was from Puerto Rico, which is <\/span>a U.S. territory. <\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n Department of Homeland Security adviser <\/span>Corey Lewandowski<\/span><\/a> on Wednesday added fuel to the fire while appearing on right-wing podcaster Benny Johnson\u2019s show, where he threatened to have ICE agents attend the massive NFL event at Levi\u2019s Stadium in Santa Clara, California, in February. <\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n \u201cThere is nowhere that you can provide safe haven to people who are in this country illegally.
