Sean \u201cDiddy\u201d Combs<\/strong><\/a> learned the details of his sentence after being found guilty of two prostitution charges at trial.<\/p>\n

Diddy, 55, was sentenced to 50 months in prison on Friday, October 3, meaning he\u2019ll stay behind bars for just over four years. The year he\u2019s already spent in jail will count toward the total sentence. Judge Arun Subramanian<\/strong> also fined Diddy $500,000 and ordered five years of supervised release once the disgraced mogul leaves prison.<\/p>\n

At the hearing, the judge urged Diddy to \u201cmake the most\u201d of his \u201csecond chance,\u201d saying, \u201cThere\u2019s a true path to redemption here. What went wrong and what can be made right.\u201d<\/p>\n

Subramanian also praised the women who testified as \u201cbrave survivors,\u201d telling the court, \u201cJane [Doe]<\/strong> and Cassie Ventura<\/strong> have been through abuse and trauma we couldn\u2019t imagine. I can only say your families are proud of you and your children will be proud of you for coming to the court to tell you what really happened. You weren\u2019t just talking to the jury, you were talking to the women who feel powerless.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tSince the trial of Sean \u201cDiddy\u201d Combs kicked off at the Daniel Patrick Moynihan U.S. Courthouse in New York City on May 5, numerous witnesses have taken the stand to testify about their alleged interactions with the rapper. Diddy was arrested in September 2024 and charged with sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy and transportation to engage [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

After Subramanian delivered the sentence, Diddy spoke to his family and fell to his knees in the courtroom.<\/p>\n

While Diddy\u2019s legal team continued to maintain his innocence throughout his trial, a jury ultimately delivered a guilty verdict<\/a> on two charges of transportation to engage in prostitution on July 2. Each count carried a maximum sentence of 10 years in prison.<\/p>\n

The jury acquitted Diddy on the additional charges of racketeering conspiracy and two counts of sex trafficking.<\/p>\n

In September 2024, Diddy was arrested in New York<\/a> and subsequently pleaded not guilty<\/a> to all charges.<\/p>\n

Following his arrest, Diddy\u2019s attorney Marc Agnifilo<\/strong> said in a statement to Us Weekly<\/em> that his client was \u201can imperfect person\u201d but \u201cnot a criminal.\u201d<\/p>\n

The rapper and music mogul made headlines in November 2023 after his ex-girlfriend Cassie accused him of sexual abuse in a bombshell lawsuit. She accused Diddy of beating her, forcing her to take [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Following Diddy\u2019s arrest, he remained behind bars at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, New York, until his trial, with his repeated attempts at bail all denied<\/a>. The proceedings began on May 5 and focused primarily on the allegations of Diddy\u2019s ex-girlfriend Cassie and an unnamed Jane Doe. Cassie, 39, took the stand during the trial<\/a> to recount the alleged sexual and physical abuse she suffered at the hands of Diddy throughout their on-and-off relationship, which spanned from 2007 to 2018.<\/p>\n

Jury deliberations started on June 30 and concluded after less than three days. Following the verdict, Diddy\u2019s attorney requested his immediate release<\/a> from prison on a $1 million bond, asking that he be allowed to return to his Miami Beach home on Star Island.
