The late Diana, Princess of Wales<\/a>, once had her hairdresser “smuggle” tabloids into the Palace while she was a member of the Royal Family.<\/p>\n Richard Dalton, Princess Diana’s longtime hairdresser,<\/a> revealed that she secretly arranged for tabloids to be brought inside Kensington Palace for her perusal.<\/p>\n In an interview with People magazine, Mr. Dalton shared, “One of the hairdressers smuggled them in. Did I say that? They were smuggled in, but it’s not to do with me.”<\/p>\n He further added: “She used to say, ‘Richard, can you bring them in for me?’ Nobody questioned it because nobody knew. Once I’d got through security and into the pantry, it was all plain sailing from there.”<\/p>\n Dalton, who first met Diana in 1978, served as her official hairdresser from 1981 to 1990.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n According to him, one of the tabloid rumors that deeply affected Diana involved speculation about the paternity of her youngest son, Prince Harry<\/a>.<\/p>\n “They always [went] on about, ‘Is Charles the father of Harry?'” Dalton recalls of the tabloid chatter surrounding King Charles (then Prince Charles). “Of course he is.”<\/p>\n He also noted: “Diana’s brother, Charles Spencer, when I used to cut his hair, his hair was bright red. Lady Sarah, also red. The Spencers definitely had red hair.
