Rylan Clark<\/a> had an emotional update about his mum Linda for fans on Instagram<\/a> this weekend, as he announced he was \u201cso proud\u201d of his beloved co-star. Linda herself shot to fame starring with Rylan on Celebrity Gogglebox<\/a>, and soon endeared herself to fans. She\u2019s also appeared with her son on his radio show and on ITV<\/a>\u2019s This Morning.<\/a><\/p>\n

This week, Linda was booked to cut the ribbon on a Christmas grotto at her local garden centre, sharing a snap of her alongside a man dressed as Santa and one of the workers. Rylan gushed: \u201cMy mum was asked to open the Christmas grotto at our local garden centre where she goes all the time and genuinely I\u2019ve never been more proud xx LOOK AT HER!\u201d along with three love heart emojis.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

His A-lister pals couldn\u2019t get enough in the comments section, with Denise Van Outen sharing a heart-eyed emoji as Michelle Visage said: \u201cI LOVE YOU LINDA!! Look at that pride!\u201d<\/p>\n

Strictly<\/a>\u2019s Sarah Hadland<\/a> posted: \u201cI\u2019m with her \u2013 it\u2019s a big moment and also the discounts she can now look forward to!\u201d<\/p>\n

Rylan told the Daily Star that he would love to do more TV work with his mum, but she\u2019s simply \u201cnot well enough\u201d<\/a>. Linda has severe Crohn\u2019s disease, which has no cure, and in 2021 was diagnosed with skin cancer.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
