But in reality, it\u2019s a uniquely versatile instrument that\u2019s been used across multiple genres.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">In addition to its starring role in compositions by the \u201cthree B\u2019s \u2013 Bach, Beethoven, Brahms \u2013 and many other composers, the cello has been used by pop artists from The Beatles to Panic! at the Disco.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">It\u2019s also the instrument of choice for Empire Wild, two cellists who blend pop, folk and jazz into their works. Featuring Juilliard-trained Mitchell Lyon and Ken Kobota, the duo will perform at 3 p.m. Nov. 9 at Broad Street Presbyterian Church, 760 E. Broad St.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">The concert is part of Sunday at Central\u2019s \u201cWhere Are They Now?\u201d series spotlighting emerging musicians with ties to Columbus.
