O.J. Simpson’s lawyer has called out Sean “Diddy” Combs for the “stupid and arrogant” error the music mogul made before his sentencing hearing.\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n P Diddy<\/a> was sentenced to 50 months in prison on October 3 for two counts of transportation for prostitution at a hearing in New York<\/a> City. His legal team was reportedly vying for a 14-month sentence, a significantly shorter period of time than the maximum sentence of 20 years.<\/p>\n During the sentencing, Diddy apologized to his ex, Cassie Ventura, for his actions, saying, “I want to personally apologize again to Cassie Ventura for any harm or hurt that I’ve caused to her, emotionally or physically. I don’t take that lightly. I would like to apologize to her family. Simpson’s lawyer and Harvard Law professor, Alan Dershowitz, told Fox News<\/a> that the bookings were a “slap in the face,” and that Diddy had made a “stupid and arrogant” error in organizing them.<\/p>\n “I can’t imagine anything more stupid than that,” Dershowitz explained. “How anybody permitted him to do that \u2026 It’s just a slap in the face to the judge. It’s outrageous. I can’t imagine any lawyer or any responsible person allowing \u2026 I would have quit the case.”<\/p>\n Continuing, he reiterated that he would have dropped Diddy’s case, remarking, “If I had been Diddy’s lawyer and Diddy had said, ‘I’m gonna make an arrangement, and I’m going to make it public.’ I would’ve said, ‘Yeah, and you’re going to get a new lawyer.
