When Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce got engaged in August, the rumors of a small, intimate wedding<\/a> immediately began to circulate. Well, the 35-year-old musician is here to tell you otherwise.<\/p>\n Swift shut down the hot gossip during her Oct. 3 appearance on The Graham Norton Show<\/a> while promoting her new album<\/a>, The Life of a Showgirl. The talk show host wanted to know if she and Kelce would be getting married in 2026.<\/p>\n More from SheKnows<\/strong><\/p>\n \u201cOh, you\u2019ll know,\u201d Swift laughed.<\/p>\n \u201cSo you\u2019re going big,\u201d Norton responded.<\/p>\n \u201cI just mean that I was going to invite you to it,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n He naturally flipped out because who wouldn\u2019t want to be invited to the wedding of the year? \u201cIf you\u2019re inviting me, it\u2019s very big,\u201d Norton continued the conversation.<\/p>\n Taylor Swift & Travis Kelce<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s huge,\u201d Swift concluded.<\/p>\n That revelation should put an end to the speculation that the renovations<\/a> she\u2019s doing on her Westerly, Rhode Island, estate had anything to do with getting married there. \u201cThey are getting married next summer in Rhode Island. She is in a hurry to have children,\u201d a Page Six <\/a>source claimed in early September. They added that it would be a small, \u201cprivate\u201d ceremony with only close family and friends on the invite list. \u201cIt will be more casual than people think,\u201d the insider said.<\/p>\n Well, none of that is true, and Swift wants to invite every A-lister she can think of, perhaps more in line with a royal wedding.<\/p>\n \u201cI think the only stressful weddings are the ones where you have a small amount and people are on the bubble,\u201d she explained to Norton. \u201cAnd you have to evaluate or assess your relationship with them to see if they should be there. I\u2019m not gonna do that.\u201d<\/p>\n The big invite list might also be a reaction to her secretive, six-year romance<\/a> with Joe Alwyn. Swift was open very early in her relationship with the Kansas City Chiefs tight end that she was going to love out loud with Kelce.<\/p>\n \u201cWhen you say a relationship is public, that means I\u2019m going to see him do what he loves, we\u2019re showing up for each other, other people are there, and we don\u2019t care,\u201d she told Time<\/a> in December 2023. \u201cThe opposite of that is you have to go to an extreme amount of effort to make sure no one knows that you\u2019re seeing someone.
