Obsess.<\/a><\/p>\n On Friday, October 3, Burgos appeared on The Ish Podcast<\/a> and made it clear why her relationships won\u2019t ever be a part of the online show. \u201cI\u2019m not going to sit here and say I\u2019m in a relationship or not. I\u2019m not. That\u2019s none of your business,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n It\u2019s not that Burgos hasn\u2019t shared before. She admitted that at one point, she used to post pieces of her love life\u2014Valentine\u2019s Day gifts, jewelry, birthday surprises. It didn\u2019t take long for her to realize the problem.<\/p>\n \u201cWhat I\u2019m doing, I\u2019m putting it out there for another woman to want my man. For what?\u201d she said. \u201cI\u2019m not going to give my man to the streets. Not doing that.\u201d<\/p>\n That lesson came from experience. Being outside in the hip hop scene\u2014bartending, hosting, modeling\u2014meant her every move was under a microscope. The video vixen era was about visibility, and Burgos became a blueprint for the kind of woman rappers wanted in their videos and fans wanted in their DMs.<\/p>\n With that visibility came speculation, rumors, and, in her words, \u201cmore girls and more girls\u201d coming at whoever she was dating.<\/p>\n The shift for Burgos now is about control. She doesn\u2019t deny people are curious about who she\u2019s with, but she doesn\u2019t feel the need to confirm anything. \u201cI give you a little bit of what I want to give y\u2019all. That\u2019s it. The privacy is privacy,\u201d she said on the podcast.<\/p>\n It\u2019s a different move than many influencers and celebrities who monetize every aspect of their personal lives.
